Kelly Clarkson Shades Ex-Husband Brandon Blackstock And His Dad

Kelly Clarkson is not one to be petty. However, she does have a good sense of humor, as evidenced on virtually every episode of The Kelly Clarkson Show.

Just a few days ago, Clarkson shared an album visualizer for her 2021 holiday-themed project, When Christmas Comes Around… The visualizer comes shortly after the deluxe reissue of the album was released this month.

It’s a cute visualizer with an added “Again” at the end of its title. This award-winning record and its new visualizer would be perfect to have on for any Christmas gathering, complete with a cozy fireplace and Christmas imagery. Throughout the video, Clarkson’s Christmas album plays in the background.

However, some fans have noticed a tiny detail in the visualizer that could very well be Kelly Clarkson throwing a little bit of playful shade at her ex-husband, Brandon Blackstock. Above the featured fireplace in the video visualizer, there are four stockings hung in plain view. Each one has a name, including “Mom”, “River”, “Remy”, and one stocking on the far right just reads “Nope”.

For reference, Kelly Clarkson and her ex-husband finalized their divorce in 2022. They share two children, River Rose and Remington “Remy” Alexander Blackstock. Their divorce resulted in Clarkson having to pay $1.3 million to Blackstock, as well as over $45,000 per month in child support for their two children.
