Vince Gill and Daughter Corinna Deliver Stunning, Heartfelt Tribute to Amy Grant at the Ryman, Captivating the Crowd with Her Mesmerizing Voice and Sparkling Stage Presence.

Vince Gill and Amy Grant welcomed a very special guest onstage Wednesday night during their Christmas residency at Ryman Auditorium. And if their 23-year-old daughter Corinna Grant Gill—who professionally goes by Corrina—didn’t steal the entire show, she most definitely wowed their crowd for the five minutes she was on stage.

Grant introduced her youngest child, the only biological child she and Gill share, to the Ryman stage. Grant told the capacity crowd that she and her husband are always thrilled when their daughter wants to sing with them. Corinna walked out wearing a floor-length, A-line black gown embellished with crystals. But it was her voice that captivated the audience.

Grant perched on a stool out of the spotlight and dabbed her eyes as Corinna started to sing a reimagined version of the song Gill wrote for Grant, “When My Amy Prays.” Corrina changed the hook to “When My Mama Prays,” and Gill accompanied her on guitar.

Corrina’s voice soared through the lyrics: All my life I’ve known of Jesus| But that connection never came| And when my world was torn to pieces| I still couldn’t call his name| But when my Mama prays| When my Mama prays| That’s when I see his face.

Vince Gill Joined Corrina, Wowwing Audience

Corinna is inarguably a devastatingly gifted vocalist whose crystalline tone is an undeniable combination of her parents’ voices. She belted the song with passion, care, and confidence, prompting the audience to leap to its feet with applause at the end.
